EPOXY
Epoxy Surfboards are know for being lighter and
stronger than traditional fiberglass surfboards. Our Epoxy boards
are made out of a hand shaped EPS foam blank that is glassed with epoxy
resin and finished with a high gloss paint. In general a lot of
people like Epoxy because of its durability, however it does not ride
the same as a traditional fiberglass surfboard. Some people complain
that they are too stiff and too light, but others enjoy those
characteristics of Epoxy boards as well. If you have never surfed
one, it's worth giving one a try and seeing what all the talk is about.
They are also very durable and good for beginners since they can
withstand being banged around!!! |

FIBERGLASS
Fiberglass Surfboards are shaped out of a
polyurethane foam blank and glassed with polyester resin. This
combination of materials has been around for over 50 years and it proves
to still be the most popular type of surfboard. Fiberglass boards
are fragile but in combination with polyurethane they have a very
natural flex pattern. These surfboards feel very smooth and
natural in the water, giving the most performance out of any other
board. They are great for every type of surfer, but you must take
good care of these boards because they are fragile and can ding if you
drop them. |

FISHES
The Fish is one of the most
versatile surfboards made. It is perfect for beginners to advanced
surfers of all heights and weights. The best thing about this board is
that it paddles and catches waves like a longboard, but surfs like a
shortboard. Most Fish surfboards have two fins and are also called
Twin Fins. Some hybrid fish surfboards have three fins or four fins for
more speed.
Good in surf from 1-6ft |
SHORTBOARDS
These are the most high
performance surfboards made and are best for intermediate or advanced
surfers. Shortboards are also often called thrusters and usually have
three fins. These surfboards have thin rails, pulled in noses and
tails, with narrow outlines for advanced techniques. Shortboards range
in size from 5'10 to 6'10 and what size to ride depends on the surfers
ability, height, & weight.
Good in all size surf !!! |
LONGBOARDS
When learning to surf
longboards or funboards are the easiest & quickest way to learn. They
are very wide and thick, providing the surfer with stability and
flotation. These surfboards are heavy and can also be hard to ride
for smaller people or in big surf. People have been riding
longboards since the start of surfing and these surfboards will catch
more waves than any other type of board.
Good in surf from 1-6ft
